Peer-to-Peer Symposium
July 1st, 1.30pm - 6pm
This Symposium is a platform for our youths to share their voluntary experiences and discuss on how they can continue to undertake sustainable action in addressing common humanitarian causes and needs.
This symposium aims to foster dialogue, coordination, and communication among the Young Humanitarians in Singapore and the Region. Through rich peer-to-peer sharing, these young humanitarians can learn about the most up-to-date thinking, analysis, challenges, lessons learned and best practices. Pushing ahead, the participants will also try to identify innovative opportunities and create concrete plans for youth to implement sustainable actions including non-discrimination and respect for diversity, intercultural dialogue and social inclusiveness initiatives.
Foresight Workshop
July 1st, 1.30pm - 6pm
What does the future hold for the youth of Singapore? What drivers of change will impact you in the next 5-10 years? What futures for youth in Singapore are possible? What insights do we need now to move toward creating your preferred future, and the future of your community and country?
We need your insights and perspective! Our workshop features hands-on foresight methods, such as gaming, and aims to generate insights toward enhancing planning and engagement strategies
Singapore Model IFRC General Assembly
July 2nd, 8am-10pm (including Closing Dinner)
The 1st Singapore Model IFRC General Assembly (SMIGA) provides an opportunity for discussion among IFRC member National Societies and youth-at-large about ways to fulfill commitments made to enable healthy and safe living, promote social inclusion and a culture of non-violence and peace, in line with Strategy 2020 of IFRC.

We see the importance in empowering and engaging our youth through dialogue and diplomacy, which will promote positive attitudes, build communication skills and common understanding of social issues and issues that have global impact, in turn, to foster environments that are non-discriminatory, safe and healthy for all.
